Work: Wrangling the Muse Design System at Cisco. The big themes lately: integrating a new color palette with Brand, decoupling AEM components from patterns, and simplifying how we document and track DS work across Confluence and Jira. I’m also refining how we report progress to leadership — building out a live dashboard to make status updates painless and visible.
Health & Fitness: Getting back into a fitness groove after a long break. Working out from home with the Peloton app (strength + cardio), improving my nutrition, and walking more during the day to fight back against fatty liver and low energy. Trying not to over-restrict calories and focusing on sustainable routines instead of “perfect” ones.
Personal Systems: Still tweaking workflows between Apple Notes, Reminders, and Obsidian. I’m finally finding a bit of rhythm in keeping review habits going. Using my dot-grid “dumb book” for creative expression without turning it into a tracker or system — just vibes.
Home & Life: Cleaned up the apartment’s internet setup after way too much hassle. Finally wired up and stable. Starting to declutter drawers and cut down on the “just in case” tech pile.
Reading: Still deep in the world of sci-fi and fantasy — no signs of slowing. Currently somewhere in the middle of a reading streak, with a soft goal of another 30+ books this year.
Overall: Trying to shift away from always being “on” for work and toward a healthier, more deliberate pace. Still figuring it out — but getting better at saying “later” instead of “right now.”
Updated the site with a new theme and new content. Usually I build my own, but this year... well... I can be a little easy on myself.
