Monthly wrap-up, June 2023
Oh hell, where'd June go? It was such a whirlwind of a month. Oh yeah, Happy Pride!

Redecorating & organizing my home office space, part 1: taking stock
One of the projects I've been thinking about tackling for... probably too long... is our office space. I
Monthly wrap-up, May 2023
I didn't get much writing done in May, I blame Tears of the Kingdom. Anyway, here's my wrap-up.
A new design, and I can write again!
I tend to fixate. I focus on a problem and tend not to let it go until it's
Monthly wrap-up, April 2023
In this monthly wrap-up, April was about relaxing, taking in the nice weather, and finally doing some things for me.
The buttons are back in town (or cars, thankfully)
I love technology and technological advancements; look at how futuristic the car's interior is! As time went on, though... I realized how much I disliked them.
A straight hit of nostalgia for an... app?
Once upon a simpler time, way back in 2012 before flat design was popular, I created Clear in partnership with
A little review of Horizon Forbidden West™: Burning Shores

Quarterly Goals Check-in, Q1 to Q2
As I mentioned in an older post, My 2023 Priorities and Goals, I would start breaking down priorities and goals into quarters, looking at what went well, and planning how to adjust things in the future, so let's hop right into it!

Monthly Wrap-up, Feb 2023
Continuing the trend from last month with a new post about what happened in February 2023. Seriously what happened? Where'd the time go?
Monthly Wrap-up, Jan 2023
Kicking off the new year with a little list wrap-up of my goings-on in January 2023.
My 2023 priorities and goals
I know there's plenty of wisdom this year saying, "don't set goals," "don't do new years resolutions!" and I get the gist; I'm here for it, and I understand it. But I like doing these things; it helps give me compass points to head to in the year.
We're engaged!
This is a somewhat longwinded post about how we met, how we worked it out, and how I finally asked Jana to marry me after ten years of being in each other's lives <3
A simple meeting light ("on air") set up for WFH, using Philips Hue & Stream Deck
Here's a quick walkthrough of how I overengineered the work from home with other people problem of: "Are you in a meeting right now?" using a Stream Deck & Philips Hue.
Musing about something new...
Putting some thoughts out there into the world about burnout, how I don't actually like talking about development, and a potential new project of mine.
Goodbye Markdown, hello Ghost (and Vercel)
